The Postkwakers are a symphonic folk band from 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. We provide music on parties, fairs, corporate and sporting events and of course during Mardi Gras, or “Carnaval” as it is known in The Netherlands. Carnaval is celebrated on a massive scale in Oeteldonk, the alternative name for 's-Hertogenbosch during the festivities.

The Postkwakers were established on Novermber 11, 1957 from the members of the PPT Symphonic Band in order to share the joy of playing music the Carnaval and to attract more new members to the PTT Symphonic Band. Currently The Postkwakers have existed independently for many years. In the beginning the band had a repetoire of only five songs, so we had to move from street corner to street corner so the audience would not notice that we played the same songs over and over again. Currently The Postkwakers have a large and varied repetoire of over 50 songs in different musical styles.
